Well, I got that sorted out, but now I have a eeprom error.... I'm about to give up after pulling out what little hair i have left..

I see, I'm currently running the case analyzer at the moment. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something else important that I was supposed to do during the initial setup, since the last time i put one together I had a usb charging problem. Thank you for that information.

Not to hijack this gentleman's post, but I just got my first box together and I was wondering if there was anything special that I needed to do through escribe for the initial setup, or if there were some settings that I'd have to play with first.

I'd post pictures, but I got irritated and pulled it all apart and resoldered it, but I did have everything soldered up correctly.

Well, I pulled it apart, and soldered a jumper wire from 4 to B+, but it's still not charging through the USB.

Hm, I didn't run a jumper wire to the fourth pin, I didn't think I needed to worry about the fourth pin... I suppose that's what I get for not checking a wiring diagram. Now, I'll have to try and undo the JB weld I used to hold in the chip holder...

I"m using a 3s, I switched the config in the Escribe, and I see voltage coming from the USB, but not charging the battery.

I can't do any of the calibrations, since the battery won't charge....

I see.. Which battery are you using in your build?

Have you had any initial battery problems after getting all together?
