Think I'm going to try  thread locking that plastic threaded insulator piece in to stop the leaking and solder the wire directly to the positive pin to reduce resistance (bladedoza isn't the only one having resistance issues). If that doesn't solve the problem, will do the MM510 switch.

Yep same exact problems I have with both boxer dna 250c mods I own. Leaking and ohms dont read right. Ginger vaper has horable customer service.  I hope the BBB gets me a full refund. I'll link this thread to the BBB if need be too :)

  2. My next question for you  AMDtrucking is can you tell me what mod maker  parts you needed to do the mod maker 510 conversion. I'm going to do the swap unless the BBB can get ginger vapor to get these mods running perfectly. The 510 set screw adapter is trash on both of mine. Ohms different on two identical devices with the same atty isnt a good mod, neither mod reads as it should. But they kept telling me that the ginger vapor 510 is perfect up untill they marked my email adress as spam.......

  3. I guess replacing my grub screw voided my warranties or so boxer said. If you scroll back into this post you'll see where ginger said that AMDtrucking taking his whole mod completly apart was fine and they stood behind there product.  His replacement 510 is working great. The ginger vapor 510 doesnt work right for me in either mod and for some other people besides me obviously. Apparently this customer service really is trash. I paid for a premium product and that's what I expect. So I guess this is turning into another dont buy boxer mods rant. I've purchased almost 2k$ in mods from them. First mods I have problems with they basicly tell me they arnt backing up the product after telling someone else taking it fully apart that they are ok. Apparantly I'm a trouble maker for wanting my 250$ mod to work right. Better buisness bureau is going to love this.

It's great, I've been using MM510 for years, they never disappointed me. But remember: MM510 is M12 threaded and in order to fit it, I had to drill the hole 12mm in diameter and, with a dremel, make larger nut, fit on the inside.

Does it read the ohms perfectly too?

  5. I've never had this many issues with any mod. I'm pretty disappointed. I'm considering the MM510 switch but for the money I paid I feel like this mod should be perfect from top to bottom even the finish. My gloss isn't consistent looks like they put that finish on with liquid.

  6. Heres my lost vape therion 75c BF.  Same coils I did the  last post with dual full stainless double core claptons that test .12. I shouldn't have to fiddle with it or see some of the worst set screws I've seen In my life. I pay for premium I expect premium. China can do it right, even right out of the box. And the leaking problems, what a shame. What's  up ginger vapor/Boxer mods?

  7. Ok so I bought a 2nd black but in gloss this time. As stated before even after all the trying to fix i did and minus AMDtucking's thread starter tool I did all the same things and i also replaced my set screw in the 510 copper adapter a 2nd time on the new one with a SS 3m bolt with a .50 pitch and a Allen head so I can actually tighten it. Mind you even with a much improved set screw in stalled the 510 adapter its housed in is finicky.

On to the rest of the storie. To start i took all readings off the same atomizer a dead rabbit. I received the newer mod with even more resistance discrepencys than the first.  I got a .159 out of the box on my .12 coils. Replaced that set screw on the second one and after fiddling with it a bunch I got it to a .14. The picture with both mods show .1 difference after all the fiddling too.  Now I  have one mod with .01 and a second mod with .02 to much resistance. As a bonus the 510's on both seap juice. My gloss's finish is inconsistent. And I didnt get a return email from my 3 emails  i sent them between Thursday and Friday after receiving it Thursday at about 10 am.

Has anyone experienced what I'm experiencing lately? When my Boxer is asleep and I pick it up, press the fire button and the screen doesn't even light up. I keep pressing the buttons and, after about 10 - 15 seconds, the board wakes up. It started happening recently and more often every time. It feels like DNA250C takes its time to boot up, without any BIOS messages on the screen. I know, it is not the micro-switch problem  (under the Fire button) because, after it comes on, it never misfires, always react on the button press. The time, between the button press and display light up, keeps increasing. It use to be 2 - 3 seconds, now it could wait up to 30 seconds or more. Evolv, is it a board problem?

Sometimes my first one is a bit sluggish I bought a second one expecting QC to have happened.  I just got a 2nd one but in gloss. It hasn't been sluggish so far but it's been in my hands less than 2 days. I'm about to post about it. It's about time to change the name of this thred to general boxer dna 250c squonk mod problems.
