I've had the device about a week and half and have already gotten over it. The Paranormal 250c is easily the best device I've owned or tried. I do want to try and make my own lipo 250c... But thus far I'm not seeing any chassis that I like. I'll give it time. I can live with the 510 connecter the way it is, the device is still handsome and functional as any unit I've owned
The 510 is designed to be raised up compared to the Therion, which had a completely flush and flat 510. You can tell this by inspecting the surface of the 510, the torx screws are recessed in and the platform rises above them. It's also a narrower diameter platform, because the atomizer doesn't have to sit on it entirely. I've added a photo to show you the difference, I believe this design choice is to prevent scratches to the surface of the mod. I actually prefer this choice personally.

The raised 510 platform means it can accomodate any size atty without scratching the mod should it exceed the pre-determined plate size, which is what happened with its predecessor. It's a lovely device, the frame on mine is a little wonky though - it's wobbly when it's sat a-top of a flat surface, the mod rocks and sways if any external force affects its stability, no matter how miniscule. Bit annoying, but love it otherwise.
