I ran a 16 gauge stranded copper wire from the plate that says GRND to the threads of the 510, soldered it up and closed her back up and she's doing fine now.

Edit: All ground issues resolved, mod is working 100%. But I still want a vaporshark, it's so damned sexy. I got a trade set up for a Sigelei 150Tc, a charger and batteries. I have no ill conscious trading the mod now because it works 100% fine and I see no reason it would ever fail now that I got a better ground going on.

Just curious if you could offer any suggestions on getting the solder to stick to the 510 threads? Do you have any pics of your job? I got the wire soldered to the ground plate nicely. I'm using 18ga non copper wire.
  2. Personally, I'll be selling mine and snatching a Vaporshark ASAP. I've opened it up and remedied most of the issues the original batch had but my atomizers still read 0.3-0.4 higher than my other mods so something is off.

  3. Hey guys, I'm just curious on how to go about editing the 'New Coil Yes/No' screen in escribe. I've made custom screens for just about everything on the device except this screen. If I edit it, it basically becomes a static image and I never see any new resistance values change when I throw on a new atty. If this isn't possible to edit could you remove it from the EScribe software?

Also, can you add the 'Upload Settings' screen in EScribe so I can go ahead and include that in themes if possible? That's the only screen I haven't found editable in EScribe.
    Thanks!

  4. Well, looks like mine decided to crap out. Was vaping with it happily for a week and everything was going well. Now my two subtanks I have built at 0.15ohms will read at 0.33 and inconsistently let me vape. Hits temp within a half a second and just does not read resistance correctly anymore. I took it apart and everything seems fine the 510 has a solid connection (if you can call it that) and the pin seems to be doing its job fine.. ugh.

EDIT: Opened it back up and slightly tweaked/moved the 510 wire and it seems to be reading ok again. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the resistance gets messed up again.
