I'm not sure that I follow. Why can't eScribe read your voltages if the battery is soldered onto the chip and how to you externally charge the battery if its soldered to the board?

I finally got an email back from Hana and will be sending it in tomorrow. Ive got a Vaporshark on the way, hopefully i have better luck with that.

Its the design of the 510 from what i have heard

What causes that though, and where does the issue develop from is what I'm curious about.

So I had the issue with tp mode not working on my hana and the screen ribbon pinch so I sent it back to hana a few weeks ago. I got it back Friday and it was working great. But today I get up and it was working fine for a half hour or so but then I get the warranty service screen. The mod was not hot at all and the voltage of the battery was reading 12.6 when I took it off the charger. I tried hooking it up to escribe but it wouldnt connect and the atty was making a weird clicking sound so i took it off, it was still making a click sound after I took it off but the sound was different. So I unplugged the usb and now when I plug it in it just shows the warranty service screen. I was hoping I wouldnt have to send this back in but it looks like I might have to. I just wanted to see what you guys thought. Thanks for any help.

I had the same issue, its the 510 connector. Send it in and they will fix it.

I sent my Hana v200 back to Hana and they replaced the 510 and the screen. It seems to be working great now... i probably just jinxed myself though.

Speaking of charging screen, is there somewhere to turn that on. I have changed the fields in escribe but the screen still shows the normal screen.

I'm glad you got it working. Mine is doing the same thing. I might have to do this as well. I have another one that the screen is going dim when the power button is pressed and I'm betting the ribbon is being pinched when the button is pressed. I have 1 dna40 screen, will that screen work on the 200? I have contacted hana but haven't heard back yet. I'm thinking it would be faster to just fix it my self.

Im having the same issue with my Hana. The screen isnt really off though, its just really dim, and its only happening to me when i press the power button. I did all the things listed in this thread as well.

I had the exact same thing happen. I'm surprised with the 1 day turnaround
