I believe this the same issue I'm having. This box had a known good battery, installed good for 2 days then out of nowhere "check battery" "warranty service" errors started. Replaced the battery now it's discharging the battery and the charge port area is warm. Picture attached is 20 min after unplugging from overnight charge.
