Yes sounds like you forgot to install windows, or if you did a zip download forgot to import the appliance.

Great tutorial on how to get windows guest OS up and running on mac, but I think I am at the point of throwing in the towel. Host and guest os both see the DNA 200, but escribe continually gives me the error, "recieved no response from device". Anyone have any suggestions? This is just waaaayyy too much trouble to be going through to simply make a few adjustments.

Success! Had to abandon my desktop running El Capitan, and bust out the old MacBook running snow leopard. Created an XP machine in VB and it's running great. Loving the ability to play around with these theme pictures. Thanks for the step by step tutorial blueridgedog!
