  1. I can't find an easy firmware and I'm frustrated. I only use wattage mode and not temp control but these new tanks have materials for wattage mode such as Clapton, SS 316, etc. and I can't get the same vapor production at all on a .2ohm coil that I get on a Laisimo L1 dual 18650 box mod, which isn't the most powerful device. So can somebody help me? I know how to use the software but it isn't providing the performance I'm used to.

  2. I'm using the Uwell Crown Subohm tank with the .5ohm SS 316 w/Optional TC or Wattage mode compatibility. I heard pops from the tank like dry hits, then I must've burned the coil a little bit as well because of the taste and smell produced. The mod is fine, though. I need help with this since I know how to use the software except these Crown stainless steel coils with the nickel legs are a puzzle I don't enjoy tonight. Anybody know how to set up a .5ohm SS 316 Wattage Mode vaping (Kanthal style)? I appreciate your help.

Using SS with a Ni200 TCR graph works like this. Nickel doubles its resistance between room temperature to about 400°F. So when you are using SS with a nickel TCR curve, it isn't going to limit the temperature until SS at least doubles in resistance (and you have it at 450°F). SS doesn't double its resistance until the real temperature reaches to about 2000°F. So running SS with a nickel TCR curve isn't doing anything to control temperature.

I changed it to SS 316 running at 375F. It works like crap. Maybe SS TC isnt made to make nimbus clouds in a condo. Im sire youre correct but it was definitely ok when i was doing it. Im not an expert at all
  4. Im glad so im sharing in case somebody else has the problem. Barely any vapor on 119W on a UWELL CROWN .25ohms dual SS coil. Damn. It finally works. I only do this with this tank so far. I have clapton set up for normal vaping. This is a great tank. Mini TFV4 with triple .2ohm coils is my favorite.

  5. It just makes it vape appropriately im not rebelling against the software. I was disappointed because my dual 18650s with LG HE2s hit this harder. It's a super tank and my new mod was giving me farts. This is what a few representatives said to do if I done care about temp. It has an affect on strength of hits some how

  6. I've been using the Uwell Crown Subohm tank and the default nickel curve works best for wattage mode on SS 316 DUAL COILS that are TC optional. I then tried the Triton at .3ohms Kanthal and the Nickel curve again. I was shocked the vapir was unbearable. I tried my Laisimo L1 with VTC4s this time and it was exactly like the nickel graph vape. I'm sticking to this for my Wattage mode use. I only do that. It's great because I was wondering why there was a quirky vapor production with less clouds at .25ohms at 115W. Lol Uwell Crown Subohm tank rules on DNA mods.

  7. Sometimes when using a .5ohm SS 316 Dual Coil on my Uwell Crown, I just select the original NI setup for perfect vaping. Shamefully, TC mode doesn't tickle my fancy, the idea of the high temp choices bothers me regardless of the fact all vaping becomes warm at least. NI material LSV is the best curve vapor graph for most of my vaping needs. I call it the DNA. LOL. NEVER will I use TC again. I've tried 5 times. all materials, each on different mods. Once on the Sigelei Fuchai 200W box mod with VTC4s, the IPV5 with VTC4s, the Reuleaux RX200 {3 VTC4 batteries}, a Laisimo L1 200W with LG HG2s, and a Kooper Plus. That doesn't seem enjoyable. but there is always the wattage only option.

  8. I use the NI curve graph and vape the 1/2 SS 316 coils that are wattage mode only compatible. One of those .25ohm coils is TC only. I burnt it out accidently forgetting it was temp only. I'm using the .5ohm SS 316 in wattage mode using the orignal NI settings with grand cool vapor. If you're using the temp, good luck. Most DNA 200 users are into temp control since the entire DNA is built around the TC function. Luckily I can easily shut it off and enjoy 24amps without ripping the wrapping of Sony VTC4s in chargers, new mods, etc.. I rather charge and vape than keep my an XTAR VC2 in the storage room at my store to charge 2100mAH cells ever. LG HB6 batteries for box mods are 5 dollars each at imrbatteries.com. They're 1500mAH, but one of the few new LG masterpiece cells with true 30a continuous discharge. HB2, HB4, are also similarly rated at 30a and nearly as good as the HB6, but the HB6 has a bigger punch for longer than the Sony batteries. 25a continuous, 2000mAH LG HD2 batteries are my favorite at 25a continuous. Finally, LG saw that we needed super subohming 18650s and that they'd profit tremendously. I've been hearing the Sony VTC4 18650 will become a collectible battery and authentics could be sought after regardless of these new LGs. I already sold 2 pairs for 14 bucks each single VTC4 to online customers somewhere else and nearby. Liionwholesale.com has then for $6.98 each and are tested individually before they ship anything out to customers...only on that site. I'm grabbing splitting a final investment or personal collection with my cousin of 7 pairs more. 14 bucks for 2 cells and 14 bucks I make for one battery at this moment. I'll use them if the value doesn't increase. I'm using am IPV5 with dual VTC4s all the time when I'm out on the town and the mod is underrated. Protovapor.com has the BEST box mods available and customizible down to the LIPO pack mAH and belt clip color. There's a Silo version which is half the size which is TINY and a long retangular small two tone box mod called an XPV DNA200D mod. IDK but it's awesome and I'm going to buy it someday.

  9. I own an Hcigar, got the hang of using it my way in wattage mode while turning off temperature altogether. I love the DNA 200 3 cell Lipo battery pack even if it's a low level battery as far as mAH only obviously. The stock Hcigar VT 200 is 9600mAH basically and 9v. It can vape at 25C, in this case that's a standard capability of 24a continuous current as is says in Escribe which isn't able to be modified. This is plenty of amperage given the LG HD2 is about 25a continuous. It's fine and a reg. box mod, not a mech mod. Don't buy a replacement battery for ameprage, only risk firmware bricking, and lipo packs not fitting regardless of dimension specifications. Anyway, my point is the Lavabox is standard 900mAH, and the rest doesn't differ from the specs of the Hcigar. I just like the feel and grip, basically I found a $135 sale on a certain site I buy from with my reward points I can have it arrive in the mail by Friday for $129.99. I was wondering if there was a different mod someone recommends instead even if I have to spend much more. I like The Protovape XD DNA200D extended battery edition for a cool 200 bucks, however. Custom two-tone color scheme, and a metallic, black, or no belt clip as well. I like the Gold (Like red grips on Lavabox) on grips and matte black on the majority of the device. It's more than 900mAH, the Extended edition, but not sure by how much the battery life lasts longer. It looks expensive, sturdy, it's a small long rectangular mod with aluminum alloy or whatever, but looks solid. The 510 threading is gold colored and can be raised, lowered, flush, or standard as another option. Anybody have the Lavabox standard battery pack of Lithium Polymer and enjoy the ergonomics so much they'd never get a slippery Hcigar, or does any person own a Protovapor? Thanks

  10. I can't seem to use that link on my Windows 10 UC browser (it's based on a chinese browser that's fast) It reads exactly as it's box says. but I have a better one my friend sold me because he can't figure out his software for DNA 200 Hcigar Vt 200.

It's completely maximum potential amperage. I wanted this so long.

He got it here. It's pricey. 55 bucks.   http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.php?prod=Lipo-1800-111-Pack

"Popular E-Cigarette Vapor solution for DNA 200 E-Cig Mod Box, Regulated Mod, Mechanical Mod, Variable Mod setups." That's on the product description.

  11. I love my Hcigar. I'm going to use it with care, however, if something does happen to it (big drop, bricked, etc.) I'll gladly use that as an excuse to buy a newer mod. I'm saving for another one now but I'm enjoying this now. Are the other mods any better? It's just ergonomics and battery specs, correct? the DNA 200 Mod is the same.

I bought this one because my friend showed my how easily it fits into an Hcigar VT200. It's not the same feel as when I bought it, but it's not too tight or loose and just powers up. I don't mind the 1300mAh, I'm all about the amperage. I only vape wattage mode, never TC, so DNA mods are shining now that I found power for my cloud chasing. I use the Uwell Rose Gold Crown at .25 dual SS 316 coils vaping near 120W max. This is built in pack of 4 VTC4s, it seems like. I have 1300mAh, although it seems like a lot longer time until it gets low battery. This is the best to get for Hcigars. If you find a slightly great mAh pack with exactly the same dimensions, which fit well, grab them. I wouldn't recommend the 75c minimum output because that might be more than the DNA 200 board can handle. This is the link. I had a few others saved and they are too large. It's 1350mAh and 35c. Perfect.

  14. Are the most commonly recommended upgrade packs suitable for somebody who can't soder or anything? I want to safely unplug the wires, remove the pack, and replace it. Then simply screw it back together. I'm looking for 40C and 1100mAh if it fits nicely, otherwise I'd insist on a 1400mAh or greater pack. I have an Hcigar VT 200 and word has it the official upgrade pack is out of production. just my luck...as soon as I get it too. 40c is a must. I paid for power and sacrificed mAh and think if these option are available, I'm into it. If there's a better DNA 200 mod under 180 bucks or so, with a perfectly fitting battery pack, let me know because I want more amperage. Thanks.

  15. I began vaping with an Aspire CF Subohm battery with included Atlantis tank, only one year ago. I loved the functionality and control of the coil and it's vapor based on resistance. The technology was exactly how I quit cigarette smoking. "200W" Regulated Box Mods using dual 18650 batteries was very appealing due to battery selection and tank variety, as well. I thought it couldn't be better until I used the Escribe software and made the ideal vaporizer experience for each of my tanks. I installed the true Hcigar VT 200 battery,1300mAh Lithium Polymer 3-cell pack producing 30c output 11v and the extra mAh. I have no problems with the software on Windows 10, and it's simple enough, intuitive. Get a DNA 200.
