    I've got a DNA250 that I built that seems to be non-connective/intermittently connective on the USB (both charging and escribe). Seems to only be able to connect when I press and hold the USB plug into a certain position.

    Worth trying to ticket for service? I don't know is this is covered or just considered normal wear and tear

  3. Weak Battery warning on a fresh 18650

    So I know the board is fairly new and it's unlikely that a lot of people have done much testing, but I figured I'd ask.

    I built a single 18650 DNA75 last night and I'm running into some strange behavior when running in temp mode and occasionally in wattage mode.

    I've tried running on a fresh LGHG2 and a Samsung 25R, and in wattage mode at 70w with a .13 ohm Nifethal70 build, everything seems to run smoothly, but when running in Nifethal Temp control mode at 60w-70w and 410F, I hit a weak battery warning >50% of the time.

    I can post some dev monitor graphs when I get home, but can anyone think of what might be going on?

    Here's the original explanation of why the DNA200 won't work on a single cell.

    If you run from single cell, which is 3-4.2v, the charger will not be able to control charging, because it can put out a minimum of 4.5 volts. The board would only be able to put out 3v, and at any rate neither system would turn on. 

    I'm not saying it isn't possible. I am saying this board can't do it. 

    The reference design, with a 3s battery in it, is significantly smaller than a classic Hana, so you don't have to get particularly big to get the feature set. You can even turn the max power down and run a 3s battery that is smaller than an 18650 if you are so inclined. You just can't do it from a single cell with this particular board.

    Someone on Box Modders got one of the boxes and ran a discharge profile on the pack. That particular one came out to 1221mAh
