i got mine working again... bcos i couldn't find a fuse so i did a "selfmade" fuse using a strain of copper wire...

You should replace this with an actual fuse ASAP for risk of hurting your board, or having a short scenario that isn't prevented by the fuse.

Here is the mouser link for fuses:

TQ for the link... ordering one (a few just to play safe) right away...
Since no one replied I'll chime in. 9 is the default. If u use the watt hr calculator on escribe it will tell u the right number. Changing the setting will make u battery meter more accurate. It won't affect the performance other than the battery meter. I also changed the cell cutoff from 3.09 up to 3.2 . Suggest u do the same.

Thanks mate. Can you explain the reason behind changing the voltage setting?
My guess is 3.2v is the safe cell cutoff for LiPo...

Mine died completely as well. Black screen. Intermittent recognition of device in escribe. Funny response from Cigreen 'hi bro Yeah. Maybe battery died. Evolv chip has a bug which cause battery power down speed fast. You need to update it with newest firmware in their website. But if the battery is dead it will be useless. Pls kindly send it to your distributor and we will change new battery and new firmware withit. Thanks for your support all the time. Best regards Jason Liu'

how is it going between u n Cigreen? Any feedbacks?
  4. The thing about HCIGAR is tht they didn't calibrate the battery on the mod hence all the weird problems arise since most of the problems had nothing to do with the chip. There's a good guy in Facebook posted a setting to calibrate it in the group DNA200 MODDERS. As soon as the replacement arrive(finger crossed) imma upload the settings into the vt200. Try check it out. Til then i only have to rely on my SVIP200. It's not the best DNA200 mod out there (user adjustable 510 non spring loaded, heavy, mirror finish display makes it hard to see during daylight) but still works like a wonder than vt200. Not to forget longer battery life too.
I tried charging the mod but the either the chip or the battery suddenly became hot. So i just leave it as it is now. Gonna return to my vendor to claim a new one. I really do like the dna200 but damn barely a week and it dies on me. What a let down.

    How did it go mate?
Still waiting for my replacement earliest by this Thursday.
  6. Got my svip200 back. Mod working fine except it's difficult to get it into temperature. Need to tweak around with my atty for the temperature mode to detect and work otherwise even with 450°F on nickel build it would only fire as if i was on kanthal. Same goes to my titanium build too. Need to figure out what's wrong with my mod.

  8. Help me guys my device suddenly went blank while vaping. I thought the board was dead but upon connecting to the usb it lights up when charging n battery life is still about 80% full. Then i plug it out the device went blank again n wouldn't fire or anything as if it's dead unless. What seems to be the problem here?

  9. Got mine and it wouldn't charge. Using escribe to charge it and it works... for only a day and the device went dead on me. Returning it to the retailer and got a vt200 in exchange because it'll take another 3 weeks for the 2nd batch of svip to arrive as all the units in this batch facing the same problem.
