I finally got my split body DNA200 mod completed. Machined it at home in my garage on my Tormach PCNC770 from 6061 aluminum. All of the CAD and CAM were done in Autodesk Fusion360. The buttons and side plates are machined from damascus style M3 Mokume. Using the Turnigy Nano-Tech 1300 mAh battery and Evolv 510 connector. Huge photo album with lots of pics and information in the descriptions.

That is fantastic, lovely work! Are you selling them?
Thanks! I'm in the process of building some that will likely end up for sale. I've also thought about taking some custom orders which would allow the selection of various colors, materials and engraving. Haven't decided on pricing but there is no way I can compete on price with all of the cheap dna200 mods coming out of china. You can see the plans for the new builds in this photo album on Imgur.
Let me know, I would love to have one, desert sand and sunspot pearl buttons, looks fantastic!

I apologize if this has nothing to do with the DNA 200 (and it probably doesn't) but I don't have another temperature control device to try it with.

I am using the TFV4 and the prebuilt Ni coils with my Vapor Shark DNA 200. It is amazing, no burt hits, great flavor, insane vapor, only one issue. It is very cool, the coolest vape I have ever had.

    Here are my settings:
    Preheat: 150W
    Wattage: 100W
    Temperature: 460F

If I raise the temperature it starts to get burnt. It is a great vape, just really cool. Has anyone else experienced this? It is probably just the way the TFV4 is but just wanted to make sure. And the drip tip airflow is closed. I have also tried other drip tips, same thing.

If you like a cooler vape, I highly recommend this setup.

I was having the same problem , cool vape and hitting temp protect on each puff, I'm using the 2 coil prebuilt and was at 150w preheat 480 degrees at 65 watts, I changed the resistance to .14 because on the coil box it says .12(+2) and changed the preheat to 60watts, so my setup now is 60 watt preheat 520 degrees at 62 watts and the vape gradually gets warmer the longer the pull with no temp protect cutting in. Hope that helps.

Sorry it took so long, we're moving. Linked below are the Sony VTC5 Battery Profiles for both the 2S 133W and 3S 200W. The noticeable differences are the Sony VTC5 loses about 4 Wh over the LG HG2's and cutoff at 3.1xV whereas the LG HG2 cutoff is around 3.0xV. My Sony VTC5's are not brand new but they're about 2-3 months old and of the VTC5 're-release type' but are indeed authentic. I entered the standard Sony VTC5 settings (Nominal 3.6V*3=10.8V, Capacity 2600 mAh, Cutoff 2.5V) and ran the tests. Per spec the 'Rated' @ 10A is 8.8 Wh*3= 26.4 vs 'Observed' 24.8 Wh or a difference of 1.6 Wh which is actually very good since the DNA 200 doesn't drain to rated cutoff voltage.

Here's an overlay comparing the 2 batteries:

Thank you, thank you! I was looking for a solution with the VTC5's, my mod was going from approx 70% to 40% with original profile loaded on the HE4'S. I loaded your profile and have been using the mod all day with an hour charge in between for the analyzer and I am currently at 61% from 8am to currently 10am est. Very impressed, thanks again! Joe
