    My question to you:

Why do you feel a firmware update is needed at this point and what issues should it resolve? I ask because all of my DNA200's and 75's are working just fine.

    My question to you is:

Do you like your new firmware with a smooth SS TC or are you rolling back to older versions?
  2. Lots of shills trolling and not a single intellectual response to the points I raised. Carry on high-fiving each other and buying products that are no longer developed...

Try responding to the lack of escribe development since November 2015, broken promises for mac software that have been made since 2015 and the better SS TC curve on the DNA 75 that has not been provided on the "top of the line" DNA 200.

    Be well...

I was wondering this, too. :/

If indeed there will be a freeze on software / firmware updates on Aug 8th, I hope we'll see a new version posted in time, that includes the smoothing algos. Even if it's beta, it would be hugely welcomed.

Not holding my breath, they seem to be more worried about suing other vaping companies than develop for their customers. We've been told since last year that escribe for Mac is coming and it seems its not. The last official escribe release was in Nov 2015 and the last working beta from Feb, not counting the beta release that bricked devices.

Evolv has stopped evolving... even the DNA 75 has no new tech, just a smoother TC that they're not giving to the DNA 200.

    so any updates on this?

LOL. They don't care about us, no point asking, just read the nonsense on the rest of this thread...

Time to put windows and a resource hogging emulator on your mac if you want to tweak your very expensive mod. Also, don't bother asking about firmware updates either. It seems evolve has ended development on the DNA 200 too!

Hey Guys. Any info on when we might be able to get ready for the DNA200 firmware that will make our temp control more like the DNA75 and less punchy. Thanks in advance. I love my mods but the Up and down temp has me constantly making adjustments that is very frustrating not being able to get a consistent vape out of these bad boys.

Don't expect an answer from evolve, only crickets here. Not sure why this forum is linked to the evolve website. It seems like they've given up on the DNA 200. I really wanted to stick with the DNA platform but after been left out in the cold for the whole of 2016 its gonna be a difficult decision to buy another DNA device

Ok guys, let's get real, why isn't the DNA 200 software progressing? It's been over 4 months since there was an "test" release that didn't literally fry your board, and I'm growing concerned we'll never see another functional update. Obviously there's no critical bugs that need fixing, but the 200's precision with SS316L leaves something to be desired, while the DNA 75 has evidently been greatly improved in regards to accuracy and smoothness with these low TCR materials. We were promised those improvements would come to the 200 in an update, but here we are, over a month out, and nothing. So seriously, what's going on? If I only get a "business as usual" answer I'm going to assume development is indeed halted or hung up. If so, maybe it's time to consider open-sourcing the Evolv software; a temp control mod that doesn't get updates is a dead temp control mod.

  7. Or maybe the best vaping chip on the market could support the best operating system. I avoid microsoft products and don't want it installed and taking up space on my mac just to tweak my mod... I think we've waited long enough, they're not even updating describe anymore. Months ago we were given the excuse that evolve was moving but that has long passed and still nothing. We DNA 200 owners now have to see that the SS regulation is much better on a DNA 75 and they don't even give us a firmware upgrade. Maybe they should leave the law suites alone and focus on their customers...
