1. I have a DNA200 and a SDNA75 and i have had a lot of problems with fluctuating ohm when using SS316L from UD.
I resently bougt a Serpent Mini and at the same time some Geekvape 316L and I do not have any problems any more with the SS316. Steady as a rock in Escribe and the vape is smoth and just as it should be.
At first when I got my SDNA75 and the new escribe software I was very disappointed, because I did not get the Vape that other users wrote about still the same crappy up and down with the SS wire, but after I use the Geekvape I really get a great stady vape.

The only prob with the SDNA75 is that it jumps out of profile when left for langer time idle.

I get a horrible dry hit when using it after its been idle for a couple af hours, but now I now why so I just change back to the profile I have on the attached tank, but other than that the 75 is also a great chip, but I changed some settings It came with Daniels settings, but some of them did not suit me.
Just installed the new escribe version and updated the firmware in both my devices.  Am I correct in seeing that there is no way to set up a profile or material using a TCR value?  I'm using the Dolphin tank with a tungsten ceramic element, and this is a bit of problem.  I see nothing that looks like a temp coeff graph.  Would appreciate some help with this.

Edit - it looks like I will have to create a csv file using a TCR of 0.0045 for various temp points, and then import it to escribe.  I'm hoping I am just brain dead and missing something, cuz this seems a rather large loss of functionality.

good point i just looked and noticed as well they took it away or i just can't find it. the box that lets you input your own TCR value is no more? that's a bad move. it was so nice to be able to just throw a tcr value in and call it good. o.O:(

i was hoping for a tcr adj from the mod itself, TBH. like joyetech, yihi, or sxk.
You can change the TCR under the Materiel tap. Mark one of the material and you get the values up and can then change TCR there.
  3. Hi. It is closest to TI. Yes you can use it in power mode just like SS, but this wire is just like Kanthal to work with.

The best place to buy this Nife52 is at a german shop and they are fairly cheap and ship very quickly. They call it Nife48, but it is Nife 52. I will suggest you searc for Nife52 coils on our friend Google and you will get many links which is about this great wire.

The german shop which also have English is here

good luck and have a great day.

  4. I usually use Celsius on my Mod, but I tried to set the temp as fahrenheit an got a much much better vape / flavor on the same coil.
its a 7 wrap spaced 316L coil coming out at .05 and I was vaping this at 248 degrees celsius, but changed it to 470 degrees fahrenheit.

Can that be because the chip makers standard is  fahrenheit?
i am running this on a Steam Crave so easy to change coils, so later I will try to make a Titanium coil and also change the profile on this to fahrenheit and see if I get the same difference.

I tested my batteries after removing them from the mod, to see if I was getting a wonky reading. But my multi meter confirmed the readings from E-scribe. I was really concerned that the battery would drain to the point that it became unstable. I wish that I could just return it for a refund. But that's not likely to happen because I bought it from  Gearbest. They want me to make a Youtube video and post it so they can view it online before even discussing a store credit or return for repair. I've never made a video and the only video recorder I have is a Iphone. Oh, and they have quality requirements for the video as well. I will never buy from Gearbest again.

Gearbest is well known for trying to discourage there customers to persude the refund claim after you make the video they will find something else for you to do. If you check the Internet you will find that 50% of there customers is dissatisfied with Gearbest.
When I buy from China shops I always use Paypal, because I then have some security and help if things go wrong.

  6. I have a Hotcig DX200 and it takes 35 minuttes to charge the batteries when I use the wall charger that came with the Mod and I bought a spare battery from Hotcig.

I know there are some post and reviews out there that state that the Hotcig is junk, but mine have been working without any probs all the time including the batteries and charger.
I have had it now for 2 months.
I dont know how long it takes by USB as I never charge that way.

    What Atty do you have?

I am running a 0,285ohm spaced coil in my Goblin mini.
I have tried the version 4 and 3,125 and the version 3 of yours and i have settled with the version 3. I get great flavor, but some sizzling on the coil also after I stop vaping?

I have the temp set at 235C and 35W and still some fluctating when i test in device monitor.
I will try the cotton suggestion of yours when the tank is emty I may have to little cotton in there.
Is it better to run a higher ohm with the SS?

    thank you

Has anyone else had success with contact Ti coils yet? I don't want to waste my Ti wire on a contact build until I hear some good cases.

I have followed this guide and it works every time.

The Asolo you mean? Yes, I remember they claimed all sorts of stuff. Making claims is the easy part. I have yet to see a good explanation of what this mod actually does. Maybe I haven't been looking hard enough.

No this is a new 75watt Mod which they also claim can meassure how much juice you have left in you tank
  10. We are with the DNA 200 working with the most advanced TC chip and the a Chinese company comes with a new TC mod and claims it can handle all kinds of wires in TC mode and it can even tell you how much e liquid you have left in your tank - .

If I remember right I think they made another Mod claiming the same thing with the wires, but Google this and have a look -  ijoy solo mini.

Try running EScribe and click on TOOLS/Update Firmware. Open the folder in the popup screen and pick the firmware

Wait, same thing happened to me! How exactly do I do this? I am running VB on an iMac...so where do I find this "tools" you speak of? Ok, I found it, but whenever I try to press "ok" it keeps saying "device is not connected"...so is my mod dead?
If an update fails on a VirtualBox setup, you may have to do the manual update via a real PC.  I had a failed update that I could not resolve with VirtualBox but did get it to work with a PC.  Make certain that the DNA200 is plugged in while booting the PC.
My device is plugged in, however, since I can't turn it on and it shows no signs of life, it is not detecting it. It is devastating and Gearbest is not being very cooperative. They are really screwing me over. I've been contacting them since last Tuesday and have gotten nowhere with them.
Get in contact wit the sales rep on this forum

    http://www.thailandvapers.com/forums/gearbest.166/

    She is usually very helpful.
And when you contact them tru a forum they are more responsive, because many other people read those post too.
    Good luck

    Hi people.

I already own the Hotcig DNA200, but have had a problem with the battery, and is currently unuseable at all as the Li-Po lasted 5 days before failure-but I knew it was coming as it kept giving the error "DNA200-battery-Warranty issue".

A new battery is being sent under warranty, but may take a MONTH.

So, I am looking at mods I can get in the UK so I have two mods.

Here are a few of my options-could anyone tell me anything about these mods, if any are better quality than the others if you own them for example?

My first choice is the efusion designed by lost vapes-I like its design, and the battery. It retails for £124.99.

My second choice is the Hcigar VT200-I wish this is what I had bought in the first place-as it is only £100 IN THE UK and I would not of had issues with China, it would be much faster if this was the one I got for the same price, this is the reason I want to buy another from the UK and have 2 DNA200's.

Then my third choice is the vaporshark-thing is, the design is so similar to the Hotcig, and it is £169.99, I don't really want that particularly, unless it is exceptionally well built or something.

Those are just a few examples. So, a DNA 200 with ideally a 1300MAH Li-PO is what I am looking at-1100 is also OK, but 900 seems to go too fast for my style of vaping.

I want to keep under £150, £130 preferably, which is another reason the Vaporshark is not really viable.

So, any UK users, could you recommend me a DNA200 device? I probably will get the Efusion most likely, unless there is known problems with it. I like the design, and the shop will warrant the 1 year warranty-so I like that the most at the moment.

So, anyone who could help would be great.

    Thank you everyone, Conan.

I also have the Hotcig DNA200 and I just bought a spare battery from Hotcig and then it takes 10 second to change and you are good to go again.

  13. I can follow your guys.
I have 4 other Temp Mods, but After I bought the Hotcig DX200 I only use one of them and that is the Joyetech Evic, because I always have 2 different juices to vape.

The Evolv DNA 200 make suchs a big difference in the taste of my liquids, so i am thinking of getting another Mod with that chip.

There is a huge difference in flavor when I use my tanks on the Evolv chip compared to the other temp Mods I have, Maybe it is the preheat or just the chip that is really doing its job compared to the others
