1. Hello, is there a way to have the screen light up while charging that I just cant seem to find? after a few searches I have found the board has an led built in but the box I used to build the mod has no hole in it for the light to come thru, is the only option to tear the mod down and drill a hole to know its charging?

  2. In an effort to try and figure out what was going on, I pulled the batteries out of all 4 devices, updated them back to sp3, put the batteries back in and now all are charging correctly, have no clue what was going on, or why they where doing the rest charging before, but they are not now, so sp3 is working great for me now on the 200's and sp4 is working great on the 250's, I am happy.

The DNA 200 doesn't have the charging issue SP4 addresses. :) There may be a SP5 for DNA 200 at some point with other fixes.

Just an FYI, I have 4 DNA200 devices that once updated to SP3 are having the charge reset issues, if I use a 1amp charger it stays charging with no problem, if I use a 2.1amp charger then it resets while charging, I learned this after building a few DNA250's and upgrading my wall and car chargers from 1amp to 2.1amp, I have tried this with 4 different wall chargers, (Pwr+, monoprice, apple, pluggable) and all do the same thing, I rolled the firmware back to 2/23/16 and the problem went away on all 4 devices.

Just installed the new escribe version and updated the firmware in both my devices.  Am I correct in seeing that there is no way to set up a profile or material using a TCR value?  I'm using the Dolphin tank with a tungsten ceramic element, and this is a bit of problem.  I see nothing that looks like a temp coeff graph.  Would appreciate some help with this.

Edit - it looks like I will have to create a csv file using a TCR of 0.0045 for various temp points, and then import it to escribe.  I'm hoping I am just brain dead and missing something, cuz this seems a rather large loss of functionality.

good point i just looked and noticed as well they took it away or i just can't find it. the box that lets you input your own TCR value is no more? that's a bad move. it was so nice to be able to just throw a tcr value in and call it good. o.O:(

i was hoping for a tcr adj from the mod itself, TBH. like joyetech, yihi, or sxk.
You can change the TCR under the Materiel tap. Mark one of the material and you get the values up and can then change TCR there.
my man flem!

edit..... i spoke too soon. ok so i go into materials tab, then select a material from "available materials", where is the option to change the tcr? all i have at the bottom is the 'move' 'split' 'delete'.     where's the 'action' tab?   to make this clear, i'm using the new escribe james just put out a couple hours ago. i realize the old escribe had this. but i can't find it on the new escribe.
right side of the screen, under the graph.
  5. Ok, so I have had 2 board go bad while using temp control with TI1 wire, sent both to evolv and got replacements back, the first 2 boards both died while taking a hit, just shut off as the fuses blew, got the new boards, installed everything and all has been good till a few minutes ago (am at 2051 hits on the new board), while taking a hit my mod just shut off, but here is the kicker, was able to hit the fire button and turn it right back on! I know when I sent the first 2 board in I detailed everything I could and explained that I have dna200 mods running non TC with zero problems, but the 2 mods that I run TC on popped the fuses, so it looks like they have found where the problem is, and instead of the fuse popping then made it just kill power 100%, I think they are on the road to getting it solved. hope to hear more from evolv on where the problem comes from.

  6. Hello, I just got in to temp builds, I have built a dual 24g titanium 8 wraps on a kennedy rda, when I put the rda on the device I get .12ohms and have it set to 90 watts, 400 degree's, the flavor is great and so is vapor production, then I let the device go to sleep, wake it up, all readings show the same but I am getting next to no vapor and next to no flavor, I ran the atomizer analyzer and am showing the same reading after wake up (within a few .xx3) but the vape quality changes massively, can someone help point me in the right direction as to what I am doing wrong?
