I'm using a jac vapour series b dna 75. I'm using a single sony vtc6 3000mah battery. The cell soft cutoff is at 2.75v. I let the battery drop all the way and checked it with device monitor, and it goes all the way down to almost 3.0 volts. I feel like this is too low. Is this normal? Thanks.

The battery meter on my dna250 therion does not seem accurate. It goes about 90 percent down but then says check battery with still a little bar in the battery meter left. Is there any way I can match it so when the batterys wont go any lower the battery meter is also empty? I'm using 2 samsung 25rs and I downloaded the csv. Thanks.

If you can connect it to escribe, check under the mod tab, make sure it is still setup for 2 cell configuration and not 3 cell. If it is still on 2 cell, check device monitor, and see what the cells read. if one of the cells reads lower voltage or ZERO volts, it is a board issue and needs serviced.
I don't know about thinkvape's warranty, but I know Evolv will cover board issues.
you can submit a ticket for Evolv here https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com
Been busy moving but finally got around to checking it with escribe - cell one reads zero volts, cell 2 reads 4.32. So the board is busted? Any way of fixing this without sending it in? Thanks

Got my thinkvape finder 133 around Christmas. Charged it yesterday and now this is happening. If I hold the fire button the screen goes on and says evolv but dies as soon as I let go. Tried a few other sets of batteries, most which didn't even work or same thing happened. Is it broke? Does thinkvape have a warranty?

Ok thanks for the info, so just to be clear after throwing them in the mod fully charged it should be accurate, and the batteries normally drain to that level and no damage was done?VapingBad said:That's fine, they are usually specified down to 2.5 V resting voltage, they would have been around 40% charge when you got them so yes that would explain your issue.

Correct, for a while actually. Shouldn't they be the same as yours tho? They are brand new vtc5a's? Edit: the batteries finally died and I threw them on an external charger, they went all the way down to 3.1 and 3.14 volts. I've never seen any batter go that low on any of my mods. Is that safe? Do you think my batteries are damaged from going that low? I used all the settings you used so I'm kind of lost. Am I having issues because I didn't fully charge my batteries before putting them in my mod? I put them straight in when they came in the mail.ChunkyButt200 said:you're saying you're still able to vape for a lot longer, even after the battery bar is empty? increase the watt hour value. up it to 15 or 16 somewhere around there.

Yup, used all the settings shown in the first postChunkyButt200 said:did you use the CSV along with the watt hour setting?

Hey everyone. Im currently using dual vtc5a's in my finder 133, and the batter indicator seems to be off. Escribe says my batterys are at 3.51 volts but the indicator is still at the very bottom. I used 14.051 for my watt hours. Is this normal? Thanks.

My mod is actually the 133, which I think is the dna200 and not 250. So it would only be capable of 1 amp charging? Bummer, but not a huge deal. It's still faster than my external charger. Are there any advantages of the 200 over the 250 to make me feel better about myself lmao? I don't think I've ever gone past 120 watts anyways so the extra power isn't too big of a deal to me.

Thank you for the advice, that looks like a really good battery. I thought that the 5a was only 20 amps so I didn't look much into it. Thank you!VapingBad said:The VTC5A would be better, the 6 is only 15 A continuous according to Mooch, the ohms you plan to use don't make a difference it's the power levels. At 15 A continuous the VTC6 would be good to about 80 W, but Mooch warns they will get hot. The main things are to use atties with good connections, keep 510 and battery terminals clean.

So I'm completely new to DNA mods and I'm going to purchase my first one, the think vape finder 167. I plan on buying a pair of vtc 6 battery's along with it as well. Are these battery's suitable? I will be doing a lot of low ohm builds, around .1 to .2 ohms. I mainly use ss and am looking to get into accurate temp control. Is there anything I should know before using this sort of setup? Thanks guys.

Are my batteries bad? got 2 samsung 25rs and they only seem to discharge to 3.5 volts, is this right? Tired of seeing my battery meter a few bars up and not being able to vape lol. Using a baby tfv8 with v8 coil if that matters. Thanks.
