Ok I got kanthal and ti wire. I just tried to use a premade cool and still got about a .011 difference but if that was my resistance my copper toolwould read it right? What do I need to set all settings to before i do the test. I'm getting completely frustrated.

That's what I figured. I'm using the Griffin 25 Twisted Ti dual coils reading at .25 ohms

As for using the copper tool for mod resistance, you were correct. I kept getting a ?. Also, I had to update for the the VT250 to do next to receive. Lastly, I tried getting the cold ohm trick but it kept being .02 higher instead of thousandths. I don't know what I did wrong. But I would definitely like to have the correct mod resistance.

What value did you use for capacity?

Got to thinking. If I use the copper tool before updating the software it should work right? I haven't updated since February 2016.

I haven't checked yet. Still waiting for my batteries to charge(charging them on my digicharger instead of PC). I do have the mod resistance tool though I bought when I got my Lavabox.

What soft-cell cutoff did you use for the CSV. file?

I bought that tool awhile back, when I got my Lavabox. It went out on me, so I ordered me 6 LG hg2s and the HCigar VT 250 and got them both in today. Soon as I get my batteries charged, I'll check my mod resistance and post it!

I just got my Griffin. I absolutely love it. I have started building To coils as well. Can you post a pic showing the 90° kink ur putting on one of the legs. As well as a pic of your setup. I am currently running dual twisted 28 awg @ 3mm that came out at .27 its doing great but sometimes I have problems getting the coils on the same plane as unmentioned above.Any suggestions and pi s will be appreciated. Thnx!
