im not suporised yours are different i have questrions about the thermals posted above the poster didnt answer in a way that gives me comfort about the numbersand or might indicate english is not his/her primary langauge as for ss finish versus oher finishes it would change numbers slightkly but not hugely no i suspect the numbers for the thermal were not run properly above..
or are not for the think vaper finder 250c

im having same issue intermittent

sometimes it wakes fine sometimes the screen doesnt wake but it will fire.. and sometimes it wont wake..
error waking or scrn staying blank but firing approx 105? and batty type or charge doewsnt seem to affect anythng nor does theme nor rebooting etc

Okay h3,does. But that doesn't really affect my question I mean it's possible he does but my concern is more with the weird trickle amperage or can I use the results from somebody else who has the same mod I do even if the ambient temperature they tested them in was 75.2 degrees cuz I could plug in those values and be much much closer than evolve defaults but there's no way when you plug in values manually to indicate what the ambient temperature the test was run at you know like I said whether the guy at the video said half charged or not is really an incredibly tangential issue

Yep, do let us know what you get with a 1/2 full battery to start.... The guy in the video you posted didn't say anything (unless I missed it) about starting with a battery at about 1/2 charged....
i will try it with 1/2 charge... and let you know... and no he didnt but the video comments i was refering to were his comments about some chinese mods having a trickle amp.005ish and never just reaching 0.000 which throws off thermals etc and makes the diagonostic test hard to run cause it doesnt stablise the temp back down over 30 min...(from the heat up start...)..etcid assume the .003amp trickle wouldnt be a huge variance? if i could get the diagnostics to complete which it wont since it expects and needs to see 0.000 amps.. .. also it occurs to me that since the .003-005 amp trickle is a characteristic of my mod.. having it figured in the case analyzer would be okay .. iuf i could actually get the case thermals test to run.. and finish which is the probklem right now it wont cause it expects to see 0.000amps and expectsa the case to drop somewwhere close to ambi temp.. right now cause of the trickle charge it fluctuates
-
sorry for the chape seatrs comment i got a email that someone had replied in a way indicating profound lack of understanding of the issues i was having i edited the comment as the comment it was refering to doesnt seem to be on the thread.. and it was out of frustration and not fair.. now .. i might start an evolv ticket thank you for the info.. ..and no i actually did it when the batt was close to full... .. it might make a difference so ill wait til the batt is half discharged and THEN ill re try case analyzer maybe the trickle charge wont happen if its not nearly full... ill try again and post whether i had success with half drained batts or.. if it was the same result and if i needed to start an evolv ticket

The case analyzer was run at 75.2°
The mod resistance of my Finder is 0.007 ohms with the copper plug.
The two battery csv's are for VTC5a's and LG HD2's. The HD2's are the purple ones.
Enjoy,
JT
did you have amp trickle?? when i tried running case analyzer myself on my finder 250c the green power line fluctuated tween.002 and .004 and would occassionaly go to 0.000 but then fluctuate again indicating a very very small amp charge reading and that would affect the case temp stablizing and reaching ambeint temp in 30 min*first partt of case analyzer test.. i wondered if you had the same thing?? is that just part of how the mods made? or is there something wrong with my chip and should should i contact evol for rma?

Make a backup copy of your ecig file before making any changes....I think you should be fine using it as a lot of folks do that....... best if you can run your own analyzer....
of course i have a backup copy .. I have a .003 amp trickle its not enough to charge but it is enough to keep the mod from ever getting a good case thermal.. .. as theres a continous low amp trickle and a consistent temp inc /fluctuation because of it
as the gentleman mentions on this
its enough to keep the temp of the case skewed and elevated... so is that a problem with the board? do i talk to evolv? it should be 0.000 amp when running case analyzer

i have mod thermal values but the test were done at a temp5 deg higher than my room and 5 deg higher than 70F so how do i plug them in the right spaces and let the mod know these are values at 75.2 deg f not at 70?? or doesnt it matter?
I didnt run the case analyzer someone else ran it on their mod and posted values the room they ran at was 75.2F i can not run it on mine as it trickle charges shows a .0002-0004 continuos charge or temp change due too charge ... so since i cant run it andf the data i have was ran at a much higher room temp can i use the nubers?

nevermind i guess i cant run em i have a .003 charge leak so i never stay at 0.000 for the test to run.. so my room is approx 70.00 maybe 69.5 can i plug in the values you got at 75.2f?? o how do i tell it those values are for 75.2???.. the only time it ask for a room temp is when i try to run the case analyzer and i cant run it due to low level charge leak

can i use these case thermals since my room temp is 68f?? or should i run it myself?

will this work for my think vape finder dna 250c 300 watt??(its 3 LG hg2) so im guess its exactly the same ?? and what do i set the soft cut off for??(default with the 250c is 2.,7v ..it looks like the csv assumes a cut off of 3.02v? is that correct?? im happy to use 3.02 as my soft cut off as thats a bit safer as the batts age
if the file above ownt work well for the think vape finder 250c cxan someone get me one that will its a 3s lg hg2 set up

The funny thing is I found a lot of files. However. Most of the values are different. How do i know which to use?
Here's two that say hg2.
ive got a think vape finder dna250c 300w *so it has 3 LG HG2 batts .. so im guessing i want the 3s lg hg2 battery profile?? and not the single one??

anyone know if the smok prince mesh coils will be replayt compati???

My Finder 250c's mod resistance measured 0.007 ohms with the copper plug.
The strange thing about the thermal settings is that my Finder tracks the room temperature within 2 degrees . But the same oe settings on my 2 Paranormals the temperature was 10 to 12 degrees off.
If I can get the temperature a stable 75 degrees in the house I will do the case analyzer and post the results. Give me a couple days and I'll let y'all know.

thank you thats pretty close to some numbers ive seen appearntly it can vary by +-.002 from the numbers ive seen so now ive got an idea of where to set mine.. and cool if you can get case thermals awesome thoyugh ive now got a digatl thermometer(ythank you samsung galaxy phones with an actual temp sensor that is accurate:))so worst case ill run my own case thermals in case of variance... or peculiarity of the mod...
bnut i could really use a lg hg 2 .csv for 3in series as in the finder 250c...
i used to have one for the wismec jaybo somewhere for the dna200 but cant find it

Yes I did set it to zero before testing.
Does that mean that you found other sources regarding the internal resistance of the finder 250c?
yeah but the thread /conversation was on a different site... and
was written by folks who were not very used to english and some of the numbers didnt make sense so i suspect it might have been for the 250 not the 250c 300 w finder... so i figuired id try here where information has always been very relieable

I just took measured mine by shorting the 510 using a rta base and a low resistance wire (no regular coil wire ofc). It came out at 0.010 Ohms. Should be a reasonable estimate for it's internal resistance and also seems in line with quite a couple of other dna 250c mods.
I'm assuming you set the mod resistance to 0 .0 0 0. Before you ran the atomizer test??? Just wondering cuz the copper plug results I've seen have been right around .05

do i take the 3s lg hg 2 one?i have a mod that uses 3 cells it has 3 hg2s in series
-
does anyone know the actual mod resistence for the finder?? mine came with .004 which is generic default and i dont have a copper plug or the basic talent to build a heavy copper wire rba.. also does anyone have real case thermal settings?? not the evolve defaults that the finder seems to have ?? lastly does anyone know where i can find a good 3 s lgh g2 csv profile and what settings for cell cutoff and max and sustained input amps? id like to error on being conservative and love my finder 250c black with red...

okay so nowe it still gives me the dont have authorization warning.. and then it does the download anyways so good enough but it be nice to stop seeing the not approved arning screen and having tohit back to get the download

i got the same error msg asd the other guy.. and i had recieved both confirmation and approval emails i even logged out then back in
-
okay i recieved the your account has been approved email and i still cant download files .csv for batts etc
Won't turn on from deep sleep

i was told that sit tight and wait for a firmware update.. or i could send mine in for testing to help with their forensic process.. but it would most likely be a firmware release..
so that being the case ill just wait for the update
