1. As a matter of personal preference I'm not a fan of the boxer but that print looks of fantastic quality. Where did you get it?
It's my model and available at shapeways http://shpws.me/JYCy
2. haven't tried squonking but a bit intrigued, got to try it.
3. one of my DNA200 MOD client got this chip LOL, kinda makes me question why was it shipped out without visual check and testing
4. You might find info at MOLEX website
5. I may be misunderstanding this as some may think this is my build or design which it isn't. No doubts or confusion about that. Basically you posted it first so I guess everyone is replying to your thread JST connectors are not meant for end usage, like I said earlier they are great for PCB designs. JSTs are not convenient like USBs and it's not about usage cycle, it's about the usage. Just a layman analogy - it's like using a hex wrench to open a philips head.
6. Love the finish but not the fire button. Also the balancing connector requires a bit of imagination for such a design. JST connectors are great for PCB/board design but are not meant for frequent plugging/unplugging.
7. I have setup two profiles for Ni200 profile 1 - 100w preheat - 50w otherwise - ohms 0 unlocked profile 2 - 60w preheat - 35w otherwise - ohms 0 unlocked rest of the things are same, (i have tried locked as well as unlocked for trouble shooting but results are the same) DNA200 changes ohms when I switch profiles. Coil is .1 ohms cold but profile 1 measures it as .12 and profile 2 reports .09 Don't know if it's a bug or both profiles do not want to play well. all readings are at cold (room temperature 24C)
8. Cheers!
Here is a link to Shapeways plastic nylon case
9. Could you please post a few other photos from other angles?
here you go
10. here is the final 900mAh DNA200 print with metal top, bottom and black plastic nylon body
11. A quick hand check still waiting on magnets to arrive, hence the back is taped. I'll post a better picture after i have installed the magnets
