I read the Therion 166 has a 6v cut off. The .5 jumps up to about .66/.67 so max wattage is around 55 watts. I was having the same problems with the .5 coil on my crown 3/Therion 166. Changed to the .25 and it's good. Guessing high ohm subohm steel coils aren't great for 2 battery DNA devices.

Hello, recently bought a Therion 166 and one day took a hit and took the battery cover off and noticed a hint of electronic smell coming from where the 510 connection is right above the battery. Smells like electronics doing its thing. I've tried two sets of LGHG2 batteries and it's with both. My question is: Is this a normal thing for it to do? Are my batteries going bad? I'm guessing I've never had access like this to the 510 connection on other mods to say this is a normal thing.
