I wired up 2 dna200 boards in two cell configuration. Changed them both to two cells in escribe. But they will only power on as long as I'm holding the power button.. I checked the voltage of the battery sled and it's at 8.4v at the board. The tap is 4.2v at the board. I've double and quadruple checked for shorts or anything out of the ordinary and nothing. I've asked for help all over Reddit and acetone is suggesting to just buy a new board.. But I have two already. One brand new and one from a Realoux.. That's spelled wrong. Any help would be great.. I just want my build to work properly.. Thank you!

Is there an inexpensive Multimeter you know of that you could suggest to me?

I'm sorry. I don't know the lingo. DMM? RMA? And what do you mean I would have the same problem with a different board?

(with fully charged cells - 4.20v) you should get 8.4v at the main -/+ 4.2v between GND and cell 1 at the tap and 8.4v between GND and 2+3 at the tap.

Im wondering why it shows 2.99V on cell 2 with no batteries installed.

I updated Escribe and the chip firmware. the battery connections are solid.. Same problem still. Thank you for your help

I built a dual 18650 Dna 200, changed the battery configuration to 2cell in describe. When I put batteries in, the mod will only power on while holding the fire button, release, it shuts off.. My balance charging wires are all correct and I'm starting to get very discouraged :/ Any Jello would be great please thank you -Derek
