I hope you don't mind if I get in on your thread?

These are my first  250C builds :)

I used  3D printed enclosures  from SW, evolv 510's & 4S 1500 mAH Lumenier  Lipo's

I didn't take any pics of the build but here they are :)

There 1" thick  2 & 1/4" wide  & 4" tall  in the middle there is a Silo 950 for size comparison.

There a Bit Big & Heavy But thats a good thing if your running 30mm atty's with Clapton Coils :)

I was wondering if it was ok to connect directly. I fried a board and I worried that's what did it but I guess not.  I didn't see why it would but it was fried after I tried.  Good thing I have a second board and Evolv has such awesome  tech support.

It's fine to connect directly, better performance wise, you just need to make it the last job and be careful not to short anything with the soldering iron or when fitting to the case, Capton tape can help with that.

I finished mine last night. Replay stopped working even though the check is there to enable it.

Really? Had mine for 2 or 3 weeks now with zero replay issues. I'm playing a puff today (Tuesday) that I saved on Saturday. I use SS316L exclusively, what wire are you using?

And here's yet another one. Alpine Tech N1 case,  2200mah, 4S, NanoTech with a Source 510.  14 gauge battery wire and an XT60.  12 gauge output wire.  16mm full travel switch wired with 28 gauge silicon.  That's a GL2, dual 20700, DNA75C on the left and and ERM+ in the middle for size comparisons.

I buy those super cheap Ozark trail knives at Wal-Mart specifically for the clips. For a fold-over design, they have the stongest grip I've found short of an old discontinued kershaw clip that I used to have.

It’s nice to see someone else install knife clips on there mod. I did this to my 250. I plan on doing the same for my out and about 250C as well.

I have to have a single fold over clip, because in the summer, it fits in the cargo pocket on my shorts. The rest of the time it hangs on the outside of my pocket, and as a mechanic, so lower is better. Plus, with a decent clip I can roll around on a creeper w/o worrying about it falling off.

Lipo used, 510 connector? Looks great BTW!

Varitube V2 510 - Tattu 3S 1300mah (15.733Wh)

Battery life has actually surprised and impressed me to be honest.. Very comparable to my dual 20700 DNA75C (17.996Wh)

Tattu is a very reputable brand in the RC quad world which is why I went with them, they can handle massive speed punch out's from racing quads... won't have any issues handling the DNA!

Ooh, I like that one, just wish I had the skills to make one myself but I’m a bit scared I’d fry everything or stuff it up & have the thing blow up in my pocket! Perhaps if I start on something a little cheaper & safer. I love my beat up old DNA 75 MODs, but am sick of having to change the 26650  twice a day, perhaps I should start with a DNA 75 with either duel 26650s or a decent sized LiPo???
