Hi all,

I've put in the Dutch and Portuguese translations. They are included in EScribe 2.0 SP4 (see the early firmware thread). A lot of people will be very happy you've done this. Thank you!

@pol, I would like to include your Polish translation as well, but I have some concerns. For example:

msgid  "&Connect..."
msgstr "&Połącz przez USB..."

msgid  "If you connect a temperature-sensing coil..."
msgstr "Konfiguracja trybu kontroli temperatury - TC // Wstępne rozgrzanie - Preheat //"

msgid  "Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (Approximation)..."
msgstr "Współczynnik temperaturowy rezystancji TFR (przybliżony)"

Connect doesn't necessarily imply USB. We may have other means of connecting to devices in the future.

I'm not sure what is meant in the middle one, but I notice preheat.. What is the connection?

The last of these generates a material curve from a TCR.

Thanks!

James

@James

Hi,

I made changes to the translation text according to your suggestions.

However, I have a problem with finishing the translation.
I need correct records for
msgid:

For a file EScribe.po for EScribe 1.2 SP5.2

#. menu->Tools->Production Utility
msgid  "Automatically Program & Test on USB Connect"

#. Mod tab -> button Battery Analyzer
##. popup screen - Battery Analyzer
msgid "Attach a resistor capable of sinking the test power you choose.\n(40W is a reasonably representative test power.)"

#. General tab->Atomizer Analyzer
##. popup screen - Lock Ohms
msgid  "You should avoid locking Ohms unless your atomizer is extremely unreliable. Never change coils without unlocking."

msgid  "Continue?"

##. popup screen - Override Ohms
msgid  "The device's Ohms measurement tends to be quite accuurate, and take connectors, etc. into account.."

msgid  "Are you sure you want to override Ohms?"

msgid  "This feature should only be used with temperature-sensing coils."

#. Tools->Production Utility -> button Program & Test
##. popup screen -
msgid "Test Fire"

msgid "Apply"

msgid "The EScribe Service Pack is Ready. To apply it, click Apply."

msgid "Exiting"

msgid "This program is about to exit to apply the Service Pack. Click Cancel if you need to save your work beforehand."

For a file .po for EScribe Suite 2.0 SP9   (international customers)

#. popup screen -> Edit... -> Edit Languages
msgid  "Service Packs always replace the default .po files, so make sure to keep a copy of your edits. A copy of en.po(US English) is a good place to

start a new translation form."

msgid  "Also, you can refresh by selecting your language in the Language menu. Some text may require restarting this program to refresh."

msgid  "Continue?"

#.Diagnostics -> Perform USB Recovery Charging -> USB Recovery Charging ->
msgid "This device has had {0} recovery charge(s) performed.\nContinue?"

#. Theme Designer -> Indicator Light ->
msgid  "DNA 75 has an indicator light."

#. Theme Designer -> Space Used
msgid  "Off-Board Memory:"

msgid  "On-Board Memory:"

#. Mod tab -> button Battery Analyzer
##. popup screen - Battery Analyzer
msgid "Attach a resistor capable of sinking the test power you choose.\n(40W is a reasonably representative test power.)"

#. Tools->Production Utility -> Program & Test
msgid  "Fire Test: {0}."

msgid  "Resistance out of range: {0}Ω."

msgid  "Didn't fire"

#. DNA 75 Color ->tabs Theme Designer
msgid  "@Language"

#.DNA 75 Color ->Theme Designer -> tab Screen

msgid  "Puff Info"

msgid  "System"
