Max output voltage I achieved using a DNA 250C with 2 Sanyo 20070A cells with a .289 resistance = 6.43v. No where near 8.4v. here would be no way in hell there would be 0 voltage drop/sag between the cells board and atty.
So you may want to re-ask your question to Evolv in the clearest, most understandable way possible.
Lol, wow now I'm having even less faith with Evolv if their own tech support can't answer a simple question. I did ask again so we'll see what he says. See my screenshot, I don't know how much more clear I can be with my question.

I think it is something between 7-7.5 but don't take my word for it. Would also love to know a official v.
Evolv responded back to me and said it was 8.4v.

Vendors selling them have different values above 6.2 volts in their ads..... so
You probably should ask your question at the Evolv Help Desk to get the correct answer from the board makers..... here is the link.....and let us know what you find out...

Thanks, I submitted the ticket so I'll post when I get a response.

hum. using your 2 batteries. build a 0.50 ohm coil and fire it at 200 watts..... what output voltage do you show in Device Monitor?
Well, the reason why I'm asking is because I don't want to purchase a device with dual battery if its going to limit me to a 6v output like the previous 250. Wanted to make sure first before I spend the money.

Bueller...Bueller...

What's the max output voltage with two 18650 batteries?

Hello,
I'm using JoeCockBill's Evolv Theme for my Therion BF DNA75C screen and would like to use this same theme on my Lost Vape Mirage but the Mirage adds the new Preheat option. How can I add that preheat screen to that theme.
Here's a link to the theme and I've attached the Mirage theme for reference. TIA.

Not seen a spec sheet yet, but would expect around 6 V with 2 cell, I only have a Lipo 4 cell beta unit so not easy for me to test that.
Thanks for the reply. I really hope they've changed that like they did with the 75C.

Question, With dual batteries does 250C still have the 6v output limit?
-
In 167 dual battery mode does it cut down the output voltage to 6.15v? I was under the impression I'd still be able to get up to the 9v output?
-
I seem to only get my hands on a big screen version Since small screen hasn't really been released yet. Can I use the small screen from a DNA40 board on the 60?
-
DOH! Sorry still too early for me. But damn that's a bummer.retird said:As Nick said in his first sentence: (Nick works for Evolv)
The DNA 75 voltage limit is intentional, and is a hardware limitation. -
I understand the budget sense with keeping the hardware minimal but I don't understand how programming it to limit it to 6.2v makes it a "budget chip". Is the hardware itself not capable of pushing one or two extra volts? The DNA60 was not available at the time the DNA75 was released so it's not like modders had another option for a board that has higher wattage with single 18650 battery support. The reason you provided just doesn't make sense, to me.
-
Why does the DNA75 only output a max voltage of 6.2V and the DNA60 is 9V? Will the 75 be upgraded for higher Output?
-
Makes sense to me. Thanks for the reply.

Question for my escribe gurus. The last time I used escribe was in it's early days when the VaporShark DNA 200 first came out and at that time I was able to have it show the charging current when plugged in, it showed me if I was getting .5amp, 1amp etc out of my charger. Now with this DNA 75 chip I no longer see that option in Escibe. Only to display Current but that's for current going to the atty. Did they take that option away or am I missing something?
Max Output Voltage of 250C

Yeah that's basically what support responded back to me with the second time around. Thanks.
