So far those have held up for our customers.
Except the paint on them. 😂

Thanks for the infos.
I have several S-body DNA75s also with the same defective daughter board I wanted to reuse.

I understand, so I just need to bridge the Down and Fire button like in picture 1 to use 3x external buttons correct?
-
If you look at the first pic, you can see the Fire and Down button bridges. The Up button wasn't bridged.
I'm only interested in the UP/Down/Fire buttons, not the Power/Battery bridges for 2S/3S configurations. Why does that effect the Up button?
-
Thanks for the reply.
I kinda figured they are needed, but the UP button didn't have a bridge.
That confuses me as to if it's really needed or not.

Indeed it is. The best looking LED on a box I've found is the VapeCige Creator DNA75C.
It looks like it's using a light pipe.
-
I found that epoxy and ca glue both diffuse the light quite a bit.
Most DNA75Cs seem to have a tiny 1 mm hole, but I have yet to
open one and look how they did it.

I have a Vapedroid by S-body with a defective daughter board.
S-body has mutilated the poor DNA board with terrible soldering, 2 daughter boards
and removing the up/down/power buttons. The fire and down button had a bridge.
I would like to know if the bridges are needed to use external buttons when removing the
onboard buttons.
Chip has been cleaned and is ready to be built into a proper mod.

If you are planning on charging via the USB port it does not matter the discharge rating of the LiPo as it is limited to 2A.
I find the Graphenes hit harder in PWM mods but give no real advantage with the DNA boards.
Take a look at the Turnigy Nano Tech series, they may have some LiPos with more mAh in the size you are looking for at a better price.

I see, makes sense. I had built a .23 and it was a strange sight to see.

I had a profile with ohms locked to 0.56, changed coils and forgot to unlock/set the coils properly to the new ohm value. When I went to hold down and fire, I didn't lock the fire and it fired shortly showing 33554 degrees celsius. Sorry for the terrible picture attached, but I don't want to try reproducing it as a safety precaution. Using firmware 2016-02-29 EScribe 1.0.42

Thanks for your time and efforts.
No issues here, runs likeaboss.
