1. Interesting reading....  I've no problem with overshooting temp.  It is just a matter of fine tuning temp, wattage, pre-heat, and punch.  Just because you have 200 watts pre-heat there is no need to leave it set at 200 watts and adjusting punch also can help.

If I'm reading it right I should be able to go full power, so is it safe to assume there is something wrong with the board? I have made sure the max output for kanthal set to 200 watts in escribe.

Doesn't the chart show .53 ohm's to max way below 200 watts.... approximately 130 or so watts...?

interesting the first link declares that the board they are selling is the ''Latest Version''

if so how many different versions of the board have there been? and what were the changes?
maybe their info given answers your question .

EVOLV DNA 200 - LATEST VERSION! - IN STOCK! SUMMARY

These have the very latest firmware and updates!
  4. FYI - Completed the huge Windows 10 upgrade/update.  It took a loooooong time (hours).  Up and running and everything in EScribe I have ran so far just works as it did previous to the upgrade.

During the upgrade/update process the Internet Security software and the network connection was stopped. Only required a mouse click to start them after upgrade/update was finished.  It also wanted MS Edge to be the default browser but gives you a choice.  Pretty simple migration process and all settings were kept and all installed software on my computer remained functional. Now to see what's new with Win-10.

NOTE:  Some peeps are reporting the install hangs at 32% and some say it hangs at 44%.  My install seemed to stop at 32% and also at 44% but after a time it just progressed passed these until the install was at 100%.

â€œIf it’s been less than 31 days since you upgraded to Windows 10, you won’t get the November update right away; this will allow you to go back to your previous version of Windows if you choose. After the 31 days have passed, your PC will automatically download the November update.”

  5. LOL.  A good mod may satisfy a vapor for years and not get out of date even with new stuff coming.  I can get a great vape from my several year old Darwin just like I can from my months old DNA200's.

I should have mentioned that the devices in the picture are all DNA25's, DNA40's, and one DNA30.  My DNA200's and Darwin are not shown.

By all means, if you have legacy mods you don't use there is always someone out there that would love to have them. Pay-It-Forward.  Why not do something nice for somebody less fortunate than you?

Do you not find that they get dusty with all the airborn straw dust floating about.? Hana,,i supose they did set bit of a bench mark with the block billet but one of the latest slim ones looks like a take on a 1590a. Personally i wouldnt spend the value of five boards on one mod...

They gather no dust.  Usually the ones I build are mostly given away to vapors who need one but don't have the extra funds to grab one.  It's called PIF (pay it forward).
  7. Sorry for your failed Windows 10 install.  Only thing I needed to do on my Win-10 upgrade was to update drivers from the manufacturer's web site as they had all the updated drivers I needed. All software worked just as it did in Win-7 and Win 8.1. Some of my software is as old as 2007.   EScripe works great with Win-8.1 and after installing Win-10 it never glitched.

  8. Having been a vaper for over 5 years I have learned one thing for sure.  Always have a spare device in case one craps out.  That is why I have 2 DNA200's (at least 2 - not saying how many I actually have.)

Been using Evolv products for years and their customer service has always been just like you are seeing.  Not many companies that will repair a device that they didn't even build.

  9. Yup, a PO box is a post office box, usually rented by a customer (such as Evolv). Items shipped to the PO box are placed into the box by Post Office employees (USPS) to be picked up by who ever rented the PO box or for delivery to the business.  Here is link using your tracking number:

I looked at your tracking number and here is what it shows:

Could be but I am not sure where this file came from. I am in California so if VS created the file then I would think it would be in US format already. Evolv should just use GMT.
Opened the file dasfast posted with Win-10 Home 64 bit version.   Here is screen shot:
