So I modified a bit and performance is much better / almost identical to DNA 40. Set the preheat to 15W punch 1, dropped the wattage to 30W, and now I'm not hitting temp and getting a phenomenal vape like a usually get from my DNA 40. Its not perfect, but I'm understanding the 200 a little better now thanks to some people on the DNA-TP Facebook group.
I think you are headed in the right direction in making the DNA40/DNA200's have similar experiences. IIRC a modder I know came up (a long time ago) with "basic deviation formula" to achieve what you are wanting. If I recall correctly it had to do with pre-heat, punch, duration, and temp setting variations. I can't remember what it was now so I've e-mailed the modder to ask for the info. Should I get a reply I'll post it here...

1. Poor installation of the batteries.
2. Poor connection of the batteries.
3. Poor wiring of the battery sled.
4 Defective battery posts on the battery sled.
5. Dirty contacts of the battery +/_.
6. Dirty contacts on the battery sled +/_.
Were the batteries a "married" set. Always used as a pair thus charged and discharged as a set?
-
Sounds like the parallel battery sled is only giving power from one battery. When you tried to power the device with one battery did you try this one battery in each battery slots and see if it would fire??
-
About the only other things I can think of is to check for is a bad display such as a cracked display, possible ribbon problem (fractured runs) in the ribbon, or connection of ribbon to the board. At any rate might be worth filling out a "Contact" at Evolv and maybe they could look at it...

Thanks a lot , i have already done these.. i have the releaux dna 200, So i know these stuff but i ask if i need to load any CSV for the battery. If it is needed
Why not just run "Battery Analyzer" ? That should analyze your battery capacity and discharge profile. -
Only buttons required to lock the power are the up/down buttons.... hopefully @66misfit got it going....he hasn't been back here since May 9th....

Turning off Temp Protect is fine on Kanthal.... try turning down the wattage and see if the flavor returns....looks like you are running the coils at the upper ranges recommended...

Hi, How does one access this hidden field? I've been trying to find it all day. The very bottom of my theme panel is the field to set temperature increments. Give me the cheat codes (so to speak), please!
The LED setting are for the DNA75. If I recall you have a DNA200... -
Wismec's web site shows that the new version Reuleaux RX200 is not a DNA200 but a different chip as is the Reuleaux RX200S. Their web site shows a device named the Reuleaux DNA200 which is a DNA200.

Not a bug in my opinion... just an OCD thing as some would say.... LOL....
-
Well the Materials are there to use in any rate... wonder if telling the device to alphabetically organize them would increase processor activity or it could be done in EScribe? Out of my zone of knowledge tho...
-
Good... ya got it fixed to your liking....

Try setting them to settings I posted and adding yellow as your "Normal" and see what you get. Set all to 1.00
-
If you change name Nfe 48 to Nfe48 and etc will they group... it looks like the numerical order of all wires is being sorted....
-
Can you post a screenshot of your settings as I did???

There is a learning curve with any APV.... all my APV's, including DNA's work "right out of the box"....( APV... Advanced Personal Vaporizer )
Here is a few videos and a tutorial (some need updating) but may help....

Fire... blue
Charging... red
Charged.... green
Normal.... (not set)
Those are the setting on my DNA75.... (not a SMY device)
When not plugged in to charge I get no led color until firing...
Upon firing I get blue.
When plugged into charge and I fire I get momentary purple (millseconds) as it turns blue. Charge and charged colors are as set... only time I get purple is when plugged to charge...
You get purple for several seconds???
My settings:
Red and blue make purple...

Really? There is nothing we can do??
I even tried to set the mod resistance to 0.006, but it still dont work.
I will try other mods and wire tonight.
You might try other Atty's also.... Maybe atty, coil build, poor grounding in the device, or connectivity issue....?? -

My question to you is:
Do you like your new firmware with a smooth SS TC or are you rolling back to older versions?
Yes I love the new software and firmware as they made my vape experience even better than it was with SS on the 200's and added the 60's, 167, and 250's to the mix.... -
Normal..... Li-Po for 18650

Can it be that with that good cleaning (with some brass cleaner) the connectivity is so good that actual resistance is lower than the previous 0,004??And what about the last resistance continue to appear in Atomiser Analyser even after taking out the tank? Bug or feature?
In checking Mod Resistance with a tool the setting should always be tested with a 0 reading to start. When you test is it set to 0 before testing?
