    Version 2.3.0

This is a modified version of the DJLsb theme that came pre-installed on my Lost Vape Paranormal/Therion 75c mods - full credit goes out to Daniel@djlsbvapes for the design of this excellent user interface that offers an array of functionality without being too cluttered and over complicated. I was unable to find a Replay enabled version, so took up the challenge of integrating Evolv's main screen UI so I could continue using my favorite theme with the added benefit of Replay. Edit: Daniel@djlsbvapes as since released an updated version with Replay, a copy of which can be found on his website. Older 75c devices - so long as you have taken all the right steps to upgrade your firmware this theme will work just fine - I found YouTube video: 'Replay Mode - how to get it on your 75C' by 'vaping v1ck' helpful, please also check here for guidance. 250c devices - no firmware upgrade required, just upload and go. Happy days 😉 UIColourToggle function available in V2.1 onwards. This feature appears on both the MAIN and REPLAY screens allowing you to toggle your UI between white and a mono color of your choosing for matchy matchy customisation i.e. orange matches up really well with silver Paranormal/wooden panels, as does Stealth with my carbon/black edition Therion for a classy toned-down look - other colour options to suit Mirage are also available from the download section. UI toggle buttons are conveniently located to provide quick switching between mono color and the default bright white display - useful in bright sunny conditions 🙂 Other modifications include: - PowerBank UI included to support USB-On-the-go (new) - ‘Warmth of Puff’ feature included on REPLAY screen - Up to 4x battery voltages included - Minor tweaks to button/field positions and removal of separation lines to provide clearer/ergonomic viewing. - Lost Vape emblem in place of full logo - for sharper imaging. - Revised battery indicators for improved vividness. Fully optimised for dna250c, and cross-compatible with dna75c devices ColourToggle options: Green, Orange, Stealth, Blue, Red, Cyan, Purple and now Magenta...choose to best suit your setup.

    Version 2.2.0

Supports DNA250c and DNA75c, and Replay on both of those chips. Now you can choose from two different UI from the settings page. You need the latest international firmware 1.1 SP33.2 INT (included with EScribe Suite 2.0 SP15) on your DNA75c for it to work. Note: The status messages, like temp protected or atomizer short etc. are only displayed when firing. Press the fire button to exit the menu or any other page that doesn't have a back button. I hope you guys like it! Also check out my other themes:

Several modifications keeping the overall default Evolv theme look. Main screen "Firing" now red when firing as well as all menu or status bars. On main screen when not in active Replay saved puff you can select the ohm reading to shortcut you to the Coil Info screen. Settings changed to Menu for new menu / settings platform Most "Back" buttons removed and scroll up of down off the screen to go to the previous screen. Watts now adjustable in 1 watt increments instead of .1. Temp adjustable in 5 degree increments. New menu platform dived into Profile, Puff Info, Coil Info and Settings on main menu. New coil install screen now has cold ohm temp for new coil and old coil resistance and temp when deciding on new coil or keeping old settings. Profile Menu has added cold ohm temp with current ohm reading and coil material setting added. Also added is the availability to have advanced preheat settings with the Preheat+ toggle when temp control is active. Puff Info screen enhanced with chart and ability to change wattage and or temp for dialing in a perfect puff. Also the addition of several live readings of the last puff. Live ohms, room temp, average power, puff duration, puff volts, puff amps, and average puff temp, and max puff temp when in temp control. When a non-temp sensing coil is installed gives you current battery % instead of temp. Recording Screen with new additions to be able to monitor with every puff. New Coil Info screen added with time, battery %, current profile, coil material, cold ohms, live ohms, coil temp, ability to remeasure resistance, and ability to lock ohms. New settings menu with System, Display, Device, and About. System gives you date, time, 12 / 24 hr, F or C temp, max puff time and serial number. New Display menu has brightness adjustment, always on, stealth level, auto lock, auto lock time out, and # of clicks to lock, and ability to set unlock device sequence. Device screen now has power bank settings, and battery voltages for up to 4 batteries. About Menu with Lifetime puff count, Theme revision, current firmware, current revision, edition, current puff count, puff count total energy, and reset to take you to a rest statistics screen. Thanks to everyone on the Evolv forum for ideas and themes to give me inspiration for this theme! Evolv Default Enhanced 250C.ecigtheme

    Version v2.4

Note: The lightning bolt on the battery is only visible while charging. Replay ready! (TC and wattage modes available too) - See below if you are having trouble with Replay Main menu is on the top right You can hide data on Main screen in Display settings (resistance, voltage, etc) You can hide date/time from Lock screen in Time Config page (also can choose MM/DD or DD/MM date format) There is now a ONE WATT version for those who want one-watt increments on the main screen (regular version is 5-watt increments). Now available in BLUE, BLACK, GREEN, and RED see downloads page: Clean-Color--ONE-WATT-#_#.ecigtheme A LOT of other stuff.. check it out! -------------------------------------------------------------- Replay info: This theme works with Replay for 75c devices (250c devices work with Replay by default). BUT you need to have the International Edition of EScribe 2.0 SP15.1 or later. Your 75c needs to have the right firmware as well (at least 1.1 SP33.2 - that one works for me), once you update ESscribe and connect your device it should prompt you to update firmware. You also MUST enable Replay in your EScribe profile for it to work. Using replay: once the above has been completed, load this theme and switch to a replay-enabled profile. There should be a "NO REPLAY" button seen on the main screen. This means there aren't yet any puffs to save. So take a few puffs, until you find one you like. Then the button should change to "SAVE," and you can click that to save that latest puff. Once Saved, the button changes to "PLAYING" and you are in Replay mode. Click that if you want to end Replay. If you are having trouble, check the Replay menu because it gives you more info: Replay Available (if theme/coil supports Replay [read-only]) Replay Ready (Replay is ready to be activated [read-only]) Replay Active (you can toggle this switch to save your last puff and activate Replay). You also cannot use a plain kanthal coil for Replay. You can use any temp sensing wire, including combinations (e.g. SS wrapped with kanthal). -------------------------------------------------------------- If anyone has suggestions, improvements, bugs, or anything else, please reach out in the comments below and/or leave a review. New update coming soon!! Thanks! Here are the available color options. Let me know if you have requests for others.

Been lurking anonymously around here for some time and then I across @Frogmod's awesome designs on Shapeways through here. Long story short: Been wanting a DNA250C for quite some time, but ALL of the purchasable models available (Triade, Finder, etc) fell short of my criteria: All Day at 100 watt, No LiPO. I'll be honest, Lipos scare the crap out of me. Yeah, I know that the DNA chip itself treats them with kid gloves with its built in charger (Love the fact that it has a Built In Balancer, and it SHUTS OFF after it is done equalizing everything) but the idea of have a half kilo or so of Thermite in my house... Nope... NUh-Uh! So I stumbled on Frog's quad 21700 Battery sled, I messaged him, we then hashed out of design criteria and some weeks later we came up with that large-ISH Monster that ya see below Loaded up with 4 Samsung 40Ts and a Varitube V2 30mm 510 Deck, what a beast, I can suck down 4-5 5ml tanks at 95 watts with the Punch @11 and I only crack past 65% all day :D

I can confirm that it’s a board or firmware issue. I’ve changed themes and firmware versions multiple times. On some themes the issue seems less prevalent. But surely this is coincidental, since given enough time it eventually does start acting up and dropping out of firing once the “temp protect” message is displayed. Whether there’s a firmware issue that hits an issue and displays that message, or the message itself that triggers the issue is unknown. It is however a real issue with either the firmware or board. My guess as to why this thread isn’t getting posts as often as it should, is perhaps people are using their DNA 250c in other modes than normal TC mode. @Evolv please look into this! It has been months where we have been having this issue with no new firmware that might fix the issue.

{Bump} Well I'm willing to point fingers. It's not the theme. Been having this problem with my paranormal 250c since day 1. My small pile of facts (accumulated with ss316L): happens most often at about 0.66s, but can happen after that seemingly at near 0.66s intervals, it suddenly stops firing and gives a "temp protected" error (which tbh seems suspiciously tied to a likely periodic event?) downloaded recordings have no sample event of the fail sample, but do note a higher then should be expected "peak temp" in the recording data (anywhere from 10F to 30F or more over the set value) cleaning/soldering the 510, swapping in various coils and atomizers... does not improve the situation changing to a lightweight theme reduces the frequency of occurrence, but it still happens and is even more jarring when it does so less often replay does not show any similar spikes in resistance to what you'd expect for a "peak temp" that far out of range during the recordings which strongly suggests this is a software issue even the forum randomly "half" signs me out while typing further suggesting software isn't a strong point here...? Ran into something fun in wattage mode too, I had a wattage profile set with a 0.5ohm coil and changed tanks to one with a 0.24ohm coil and declined the coil question, and when I went to fire it... "temp protect". Is "temp protect" just a go-to "we won't let you fire for reasons undisclosed" message? Or does "temp" actually mean "temporary" like "temporary placeholder for a real error message which we may never include"? (Yes, a joke! Because laughter is what I have left after spending DNA sized moneys!) Considering TC is what Evolv boards were known for, and I waited so patiently for a 250c... this is a little depressing really. My much cheaper ~$30 mods all manage to get through an entire puff... and arguably those builds aren't near as good as DNA should be. Anyway, still loving my paranormal even though I haven't found TC to be up to snuff on it... though it's epitaph really shouldn't be "at least replay worked."

For those of you's who may be looking to build a more pocket friendly sized, lipo powered 250c mod. This may be a solution for you I built this mod with a silo75c enclosure https://www.protovapor.com/product/silo-dna-75c-billet-aluminum-dna-mod-case/ a source 510 & a FullyMax 950mAH lipo. This enclosure was intended for a 75c! So with out some internal modification a 250c will NOT! fit. The main issue is the space for the chip, as the 250c is 2mm wider. The button fitment & usb fit perfectly, once you remove the extra material for the chip to fit in place. I used a dremel, & it was a lot of work! If some one has access to a milling machine it would be a piece of cake Also note, space management gave me a choice of a better quality 510 (source) or an xt30 connector. I choose the live battery connection & the better 510. If how ever you would choose a Varitube 510, there would be adequate room for an xt30 battery connector See size comparison to a Silo 950, older dna 250, but same size battery

Dual 18650's, nice! Looks good! I put one in a ZNA mod, I love those ZNA's, they feel good in my hand and make for a nice pocket mod when working around the house. It's still a work in progress mod, I replaced the crappy adjustable 510 with a VariTube V1 spring loaded 510, need to get some pics showing that. I've also got to do something different with the patch cable I made for connecting to the charge board so I can use escribe, I've started a thread looking for some answers on that in the modders section --> https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/68792-can-i-bypass-the-charge-board-wire-a-usb-port-directly-to-board-for-escribe-no-charging-needed/ I'm very happy with the 60 so far, I'm getting just as good a vape as I do with my 75's and 200's.

Hi all, was wondering how I can fix a loose 510 connection on a Lost Vape Paranormal 250c? When the tank sits on it I can feel the tank wobbling around. The actual silver ring around the 510 connection lifts when the tank is nudged. I already sent Lost Vape a message about it on Thursday but haven't heard back yet. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how they've handled it. Thanks.

@retird and @SirTimmyTimbit and @joeblowma I can attest to what Joe wrote. I'm using a modified evolv theme. On my mod, I'm TC only. Around 5% of the time, usually around .7 seconds, all power to the mod is cut and Temp Protected shown on the screen. From my 1st pic, look at 'Peak' Temp value, although it's not displayed by the graph. The 510 soldering has been checked. I've been using this atty for months with no issues on regular DNAs (75, 200, 250). Temp set at 420F, Peak temp 453F shown below. The second image (puff 2215) shows before and after successful operation if you look at the puff times. I don't think any of you guys are crazy. The power, once the coil is coming up to temp, never lowers, so if the puff were to continue, It would overshoot.

Aahhh, yup, that's correct. What you're looking for is Boost Punch while in Watts mode. It's a slider from 1-11, proportional up to 100 watts for 1 second.

RESISTANCE PROBLEM RESOLVED DMcC, Faced the same problems with the resistance reading high. When the mod arrived , all was fine, but a month later the resistance started fluctuating. I was forced to stick to watts vaping on this device. Wish I could make use of the warranty, but since I'm overseas and basically did not want to get into the cumbersome process. Had got the mod shipped from JAC(UK) to USA to a friend's place who was flying back home to India. Over time, the resistance had started reading 0.3 ohms in excess, i.e. a 1 ohm coil had started reading as 1.3 -1.4 ohms. ... Opened up the device just to see the grounding of the negative wire and every wire was properly soldered onto the board. Re-soldered the negatives and positives but no success. The"form factor" of the device somehow always attracted me and hence continued to vape on it only on wattage mode. In the meantime, got myself a LostVape Mirage 75C, enjoyed the mod , but missed the JAC. I finally decided to give the JAC another go. Opened up the two screws of the top cap of the 510 plate and shorted the soldering of the negative below the plate of the 510 with the outer diameter of the 510 (the negative basically) with a metallic nail file (lol), while I had my Hastur mini atomiser screwed in the 510......AND BAM... The Reading which was showing 1.36 ohms, as if by miracle, started showing 1.05ohms. Thought of soldering a small piece of wire securing the negative connection between the outer barrel of the 510 to the plate itself (under the plate), but realised the DESIGN FLAW.... the 510 is press fitted onto the plate which was not giving a secure negative connection. Noticed, that the 510 was protruding half a mm above the plate. All I did was put all the screws back in place, put the mod on the floor , and with a small flat hammer gave the 510, 2-3 shots. All this did was, make the connection between the 510 and the plate solid. The protusion of half a mm also became negligible and the resistance on my JAC is back to perfect. My Mirage has gone back to the shelf and am back with my love. However it was very nice of our JAC member to extend all kind of help and assistance. Hats off !!! .... It is nice to hear that JAC is coming up with a 75C. Dear Jac member, if you are there, is it possible for you guys to ship it to India ? Will definitely be getting the JAC 75C, any which way. In the mean time, Happy Vaping ....................................... ---TANNY.

It's a tricky one to explain and not very intuitive. But in the theme designer, 1. Go to the screen that has the wattage displayed. You may have to select the tab 'Temp Sensing Material or Can Replay' depending how the theme is set up. 2. Click on the watts number 3. Click on 'options' under 'source' 4. Change decimal places to '0' 5. Change step size to '1' If you'd rather, I'm happy to change it for you if you save the theme you're using and post the file on this thread. I can amend and post it in a reply.
