Still, if you're interested, give it a try. https://downloads.evolvapor.com/SetupEScribe2_2020-06-22_US_test.run https://downloads.evolvapor.com/SetupEScribe2_2020-06-22_INT_test.run

  5. I edited my post to include: "EDIT: BTW: Even running TC with the inaccurate resistance value, I have not been locking the resistance in. The board goes through refinement, and seemingly functions as it should. There is no abnormal resistance drifting. I only locked the actual measured cold resistance in when I was in EScribe running atty analyzer for testing." I appreciate the help.. I'm no expert, but I've been on-board with Evolv since the Darwin, and know my way around as far as testing with a cold resistance, refinement, materials, cleanliness, TCR TFR values, etc... I alr

  6. That '0' value IF changed (raised) will lower the measured resistance of your coil. The evolv default for their other boards is 0.004Ω You should start with that. .We're talking milliohms here. Mine, measured accurately, range from 0.002 to 0.008Ω but I have heard of other mods much higher. "From the output of the board, there are several resistances in series that make up the load. First you have the wires running to the connector. Then you have the connector body itself. Then you have the interface between the connector and the atomizer. Then you have the atomizer body, then the connect

  11. Graph looks good, with use Replay in profile checked you will be able to get a replication of the saved puff. Try heating the wire a little hotter perhaps. But not bright red.

  12. Not actually twisting it makes it stiffer. When I'm done twisting it I heat the length of it to a slight red. I torch all my wire prior to coiling (even Tii). You could use a Bic lighter if necessary but be sure to dry fire with low wattage to burn off the black stuff. Twisted lightly really doesn't describe it, it's twisted pretty tight. This makes the 2 strands equal / near 26 gauge with lots of area for juice contact. This photo is from a couple of years ago, I twist it a bit tighter nowadays.

  13. Different flavorings will peek at different temperatures. Plus your graph shows you are going straight to 420°F from the get go. This isn't how wattage mode works. As wattage mode ramps up through a range of temperatures. Thus depending on the flavorings, you will likely be hitting different flavor peaks during the puff while going straight to 420°F won't. The easy solution would be to just use Replay under wattage mode and to be done with it. Although if you do want to continue with TC, I'd drop the wattage until you get that slower ramp up through the temperatures. And you can set

  14. In escribe 'general' tab (not theme designer), one 'profile' will show Nickel and .47 ohms, 25 watts and 420F. Those values are then used to display on your screen. Here's how to change your theme. Plug in Mirage. Go into theme designer, Save that Mirage theme. You'll get a .ecigtheme file. Disconnect and plug in VA mod. Go into theme designer, Save that VA theme. When theme designer 1st came up, you can save that VA wallpaper if you want to use it elsewhere. Now load theme (with VA still plugged in) using Mirage file. Swap wallpaper if you want. Save theme. Now, looking in them

  16. You can short the 510 on the mod and read the resistance from the Atomizer Analyzer (don't fire it and it isn't necessary - a spark is normal [0.5v]). And the value it says you need in put in EScribe's mod resistance. And the resistance being off by 0.06Ω shouldn't affect the TC working as long as the connection is solid. Although the temperature setting may not be accurate and maybe off a dozen or so degrees.

  18. This video shows an extender plate for the 510.... wondering if that may make a difference in resistance??? Would there be a difference if the extender plate was removed and the atty screwed into the base 510??? Just a thought....

This is the first attempt at a theme. Designed for my new Lost Vape Centaurus Blue/Embossing/Tactile Carbon Fiber box mod (first DNA mod!). - Copied and tweaked Fog Legion's "Lost Vape Paranormal 250C Replay Theme by Fog Legion 1.1.0". - Used the blue/black background from JoeCockBill's "JoeCockBill's Evolv theme 1.0.0". - Made custom lock screen using Lost Vape's Centaurus logo and adjustments in Gimp.

  21. Hello all, I've been working on this as a side project for a while now. If you're one of the 5 people in the world who uses Linux , and EScribe is the last thing you keep Windows for, well, here you go. I expect this will have bugs and broken functionality. Please let me know what you run into. Also, I don't use Linux on a daily basis, so if anything seems unnatural to you relative to ordinary Linux look-and-feel, please mention that as well. https://downloads.evolvapor.com/SetupEScribe2_SP24_US.run https://downloads.evolvapor.com/SetupEScribe2_SP24_INT.run The install

  22. I have a feeling that you pushed the insulator downward a bit with that threaded rod and now this atty with the shortest 510 no longer makes contact. Can you feel any movement in that spring loaded 510 positive pin? You might need to unscrew the 510 to fix it. No photos attached! But your mod will still fire with no cotton or liquid even if it's in TC.

  34. Evolv's Data sheet shows 4 cell wiring and pinout for 400 Watt DNA250C.... https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250color.pdf To me the 4-cell wiring gives 16.8 volts input between battery + and battery - on the board. Connections G,1,2,3,4 are for cell voltage monitoring. At least that's my understanding. Looks like the data sheet shows the MAX input current is 30A with Peak at 32A. The data sheet also says: The DNA 250C runs on two, three, or four series voltage from lithium polymer or lithium ion batteries, and features battery monitoring and an integrated 2A charger.

  38. Well I did something really stupid. This mod was a Triade 250c. It was brand new, it never had an atomizer on it. I had setup the profiles and all I wanted to do was put my theme on it. When you upload a theme two boxes popup the first is when Theme Designer is downloading the settings from the mod. When it's done downloading. The popup closes. Then the second popup box comes on and the theme and settings are uploaded to the mod. When the uploading is done the popup closes. When done you just disconnect the mod and vape. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a popup close and I pulled

  39. Try this and see what goes: Make sure all connections are tight in the atty and no coil wrap is touching the one next to it (called a spaced coil). With the atty off the device fire the device several times. Now let the atty and the device set until both are at room temperature. Screw on the atty, fire the device and select "new coil". This sets the cold ohms as can be seen in Device Monitor. The Live ohms will be higher as you vape as the ohms elevate due to heating the coil. You should not get an immediate "temp protect" message and the message will show when the se

  42. @zark Comrade, when Case Analyzer is run, the only question asked is what is the current temperature. After each heating and cooling period it shows temp differential. Using their algorithm evolv can estimate/calculate the room temp as an offset from board temp. Look at all the different values for Thermals. There is only 1 board temp sensor on the 2xx series of boards.

  43. Don't forget the atty, so many have a centre pin that screws in which after lots of heat-cool cycles loosens and lets in dirt, try loosening a tiny bit then tightening all threads in your atty that are part of the current path.

  44. The entire premise of this thread is false. ❌ Who on earth ever heard of a "LiPo mech mod" being built with a highly sophisticated, variable wattage, regulator board? 🤔 🤪 She can solder, SHE'S A KEEPER! 🤩 Take her mod, and buy her a new enclosure and board of her choice. 🎉 She can solder, SHE'S A KEEPER! 🤩 Or slap that black and white ArcticFox theme on it and call it a day. 🗑 She can solder, SHE'S A KEEPER! 👍 You can let her know this board can fire the lowest ohm coil she can build. 🧨

But yesterday I made a test with a blank theme, what contained just two Screens and two functions in each of these Screens. 1st Screen: a "Goto Child" and a "Goto another". Destination of each was 2nd Screen. 2nd Screen: "Goto parent" and "Goto another". Destination in both functions was 1st Screen. Then I have completely restarted the DNA after each of following attemps. Result of tests: 1. 1st Screen "Goto Child" (means "Gosub") - 2nd Screen

  48. just updating this as i ran into a problem just recently , it seems another bug in Windows 10 that some users are having trouble with custom fonts when installing to the font folder they simply wont show up in the list of fonts you've installed when using different applications , how i fixed this is to create anew folder on your C drive and name it New Fonts , copy and paste your desired font in this folder you've just created and rick click the font and select install for all users and this should now install the font to the main font folder in windows and should be available in different app

  49. Well, the display of the Preheat temperature is quite interesting, but to set this directly seems pointless, since the chipset works in fixed increments. As far as I interpret the behavior correctly, these steps are dependent on the set target temperature, as well as the exceeding of the TC target temperature in Preheat is not possible - even if the direct temperature input suggests something else. There is a direct dependency between Preheat-Temp and Preheat-Punch. So I decided to optionally display the preheat temperature (assigned by the chipset) - but the setting is done as a pre
